How It Works

Usage and Safety
Side Effects
Common: Drowsiness, dizziness, weight gain, fatigue, increased appetite, restlessness.
Less Common: Extrapyramidal symptoms (tremors, rigidity), increased prolactin levels, constipation, dry mouth, orthostatic hypotension, blurred vision.
Drug Interactions
May interact with: CNS depressants (alcohol, benzodiazepines), antihypertensive drugs, carbamazepine, fluoxetine, paroxetine, clozapine, and medications affecting dopamine pathways.
Indications
