How It Works

Usage and Safety

Side Effects
Common: Nausea, constipation, abdominal discomfort, dark stools.

Less Common: Vomiting, diarrhea, metallic taste, stomach cramps, allergic reactions (rare).

Drug Interactions
May interact with: antacids, proton pump inhibitors, tetracycline antibiotics, quinolone antibiotics, levothyroxine, calcium supplements, and certain foods that may reduce iron absorption.

Indications
